Emily Griffith Opportunity School is Colorado’s most unique technical college. We offer an extensive curriculum including over 500 courses, establishing our reputation for being one of the region’s most diverse learning environments. We’ve assisted over 1.5 million students since our inception.

Credits from our technical courses are transferable to other Colorado public community colleges, so starting your education at Emily Griffith Opportunity School can be the easiest and most cost-effective way to start earning your Associate’s Degree.

Our school was founded over 90 years ago, and we still use the motto coined by Emily Griffith herself: For all who wish to learn. We welcome all people, regardless of age, race or education level, who want to expand their horizons and chart their own course for success.

Whether you need new skills to start your dream career, you’re changing careers, or you just want to upgrade skills you already have, we have programs that will fit your schedule and your budget. Many courses are open-ended, so you can start them anytime of year.

Our team is deeply committed to helping you achieve your goals in life. Here, you’re not just a number; you’re part of a 90-year-old community that values learning and growing through personal relationships with our teachers and faculty.
